The Marx is approx 22.5cm long - Plastic Red Car battery-operated remote control, 1960; The Coupé is 14 cm, 1970

A Very rare electric Red car from the 60s produced in the British colony of Hong Kong by the famous toy manufacturer Marx & Co. Toys. This Car is in original and in very good condition. The electrical system works very well, it has a horn and lights all work. It has its original box which is also in good condition, but shows signs of ageing. The length of this sports car is about 22.5cm, and China-made car coupé ME 742 wire-guided (the remote has a small bump on the back can as you see from the photos) made about 1970, with blue metal box for the two batteries (not included), with two directional buttons red and green, tinplate in yellow colour and driver's drawing, rims in cream plastic and black wheels, length 14 cm, and brand on the right side of the bonnet, chrome bumpers. Model works but the batteries do not always make contact, and sometimes doesn't work.
