Two equal coins from Germany / Cologne from the year 1730. Deliberately not cleaned to show them in the almost 300 year old condition.
A coat of arms with a crown above it is depicted on the obverse, a lion on both sides and garlands all around with the text: civit Colon
a wine glass surrounded by the circumscription: Signum Senatori 1730 at the reverse
One coin has a copper core in the middle of the coin, which is also original. / diameter: 21 mm /weight: 5.4 grams
In essence, these are wine medals for the city members of the city of Cologne. This money was also used for e.g. honorarium.
