Guido Llinas was born in Cuba in 1923. A self-taught artist who specialized in painting and engraving and moved to Paris in 1959, where he worked on engraving at the Hayter atelier and at the Denise René Gallery for several years, where he was in charge of the inventory for the paintings and serigraphs. Here he made contact with artists like Sonia Delaunay, Jean Arp, Vasarely, Richard Mortensen and Latin American artists such as Soto, Cruz, Diez, Tomasello, Le Par and Di Teana. In 2005 he died in Paris.
