Kashmar

The city of Kashmar is situated in East Persia in the province of Khorasan and is the capital of the administrative region of the same name. It was originally called Turshis, but was renamed Kashmar during the reign of Shah Reza. It was the favourite carpet of the last shah. Its special characteristic is the depiction of antique archaeological discoveries such as vases, weapons, jugs, bowls, etc.
