This is a hand-knotted Moud rug, made of durable, natural materials. The way it is knotted and the diversity in patterns make this rug unique and emphasise its authentic and traditional character.

Moud (or Maud) is located in eastern Iran. Moud rugs are designed both with and without a medallion; this is called a Herati pattern. Moud rugs are made of high-quality wool, often with silk accents that seem to light up, on a cotton warp. Moud rugs often have a silky shine.
Moud rugs are excellent for regular use and have a high durability.
This is a used rug, which has become more beautiful and richer in character due to the natural ageing process.
