Paul Aïzpiri (1919-2016) was a French figurative painter and lithographer belonging to the Young Painting of the School of Paris with, Bernard Buffet, Paul Rebeyrolles, Bernard Lorjou, André Minaux.
Former pupil of the École Boulle, then of the National School of Fine Arts where he was admitted in 1936 in the workshop of Fernand Sabatté, he exhibited at the Salon d'Automne just after the Liberation and won the third prize of Jeune Peinture in 1951. He is well known in Japan where his works are permanently exhibited at Nakata Museum (in) of Onomichi.
