Two zamak sculptures after Charles Anfrie by Géo Maxim - 'Sans Souci' and 'Philosophe' - early 20th century
Both in good condition - ca 37 cm

Two very beautiful sculptures of a boy made by Géo Maxim after the example of the French sculptor Charles Anfrie (1833-1905).

Both sculptures are on a wooden pedestal bearing the name of the sculpture; 'Sans Souci' and 'Philosophe' in addition to 'par Géo Maxim'. The sculpture named 'Philosophe' is signed with C Anfrie. The sculptures are very detailed, an absolute asset for your interior or collection.

Material: Zamak, wooden pedestal.
Dated: 1st half of the 20th century.
Dimensions: height approx. 37 cm, diameter pedestal: 11.5 cm
Condition: sculptures are in good condition, with the usual signs of age.

The sculptures will be sent by recorded delivery and well packaged, but can also be picked up in Breda (NL).
