Outstanding and rare apothecary mortar in Nembro marble, carved and decorated on 2 sides with bull heads, a symbol of strength and masculinity as well as sincerity, impetuousness and passion.
Please note the marble colour and grain, the impeccable design of the animal horns, with a precise and refined touch.
Dating back to the late 19th century, the mortar comes from a wealthy apothecary in Venice.
