Okimono in ivory depicting a fisherman who fishes in the waves using a trotline
Meiji period, late 19th/early 20th century.

Size 16.5 cm
Very good overall condition and ivory grain
Signed on the bottom, possibly Tokyo school



Japanese artefact from the Meiji Period (circa 1890-1910).
The item was produced prior to 1947, and is therefore in compliance with European Union regulations on ivory trade.
