Etienne was in charge of the administration, and made portraits, while Louis-Antonin brought back views of buildings and landscapes from his trips. This is how the Neurdein company came to offer portraits of historical people, and contemporary celebrities, along with views of architecture of all sizes from France, Algeria and Belgium from 1868 on.
