Emil Karl Albert Brugsch, alias Der kleine Brugsch (Brugsch the small), was a photographer archaeologist who joined his brother in Egypt in 1870 to assist him as editor of the periodical dedicated the Egyptian language and archaeology, the ZÄS, founded in Cairo in 1864.
He photographed many mummies of Egyptian Pharaohs.
