About the artist:
Vera Gulpers (1988) has always had an interest in portraiture. She has over a decade of experience working with several materials and techniques such as oil paint, watercolour and charcoal.
A central theme in her work is the search for beauty in transience. This is expressed in fragmented portraits which question what beauty is and how we perceive it.
Her works have been exhibited in Amsterdam (NL), Maastricht (NL) and Heerlen (NL).
