Very beautiful long plain wooden nyoi-scepter with a faded brown cord, the head of the staff shaped as a mystic lingzhi-mushroom.

A "nyoi" is a curved decorative object that serves as a ceremonial sceptre in Chinese and Japanese Buddhism or a talisman symbolizing power and good fortune.
