A relatively rare watch, Omega Chronometer Speedsonic f 300 Hz, is a member of both the Seamaster and Speedmaster (fifth generation) families, and has a hybrid electronic/mechanical “tuning fork” movement (Cal. 1255 with Twelve 12 Jewels) based on the Bulova Accutron design. Inside the case-back its stamped as: “10 Vement Licensed Bulova&Pat.”

The watch is a relatively large and heavy. Dia: from left to right is 44 mm (excluding the crown) and the height is 14.50 mm

The case material is steel and the bracelet with the claps is a combination of leather&steel. When you hold it up to you ear, You’ll hear a faint low hum from the vibrating fork (at 300 Hz, of course), and if you’ll listen carefully, you can also hear an even fainter high-pitched whine All of the functions, fully serviced, shown on the dial and sub-dials (chrono, time, day and date settings, start-stop and reset buttons) are working properly and accurately.
