This lot comes from the private collection of Mr. J. Bahamonde who over a period of 20 years acquired his collection from various prestigious dealers. His degree in archaeology from one of the best British universities and passion for Chinese art is reflected in this beautiful figure

This bronze figure of Shadakshari Lokeshvara has a pointed tiara and seating in padmasana on a double lotus flower base, the deity is holding the vase with the elixir of long life, a lasso, a heavenly scroll and another ritual implement.


Height: 17.3 cm.


Condition: Very good overall with manufacturing flaws, some use and age related wear including rubbing to patina and scratches. Else intact and solid.
