Size : 356 × 488 mm

These are two pieces of triptych.

There is a title on the right side of sheet : "テツドウジョウキシャツウカウヅ(鉄道蒸気車通行図 The picture of passing a steam locomotive) ".

There is also fare table of steam locomotive at Yokohama on The left side of sheet.

Utagawa Hiroshige III is known for drawing "Tokaido Gojusantsugi," as well as Utagawa Hiroshige and Utagawa Hiroshige II.
Reflecting the advent of the Meiji period, however, he drew many products of civilization and enlightenment, such as steam locomotive, Western-style architecture and Western clothes.
