Currency of King Jean II with a great helm
for the Principality of Orange.

Jean of Luxembourg, known as 'the Blind', became the King of Bohemia in 1310 with his first marriage and then Count of Luxembourg in 1313 and titular King of Poland.
He became blind in 1340 following a failed eye operation.
He died in the Battle of Crecy on August 26, 1346.
