This lot comprises the album by Casterman in 2001, with an original watercolour on thick A4 paper, pasted on the flyleaf and an illustration with a felt pen dedication on the title page.
Thomas Frisano is a French cartoonist and painter, born in 1963.
He started out contributing to the covers of ‘Strange’ magazine created by his father, Jean Frisano, published by Editions Lug. Then he gradually began creating covers for other comic book titles from Editions Lug: ‘Titans’, ‘Spécial Strange’, ‘Nova’, ‘Albums de l'Araignée’, ‘Fantastic Four’.
He also illustrated the 12 ‘Travaux d'Art Cool’ album with Jean-Pierre Dionnet, published by Albin Michel, and two volumes of ‘Relations Publiques’, published by Glénat, in collaboration with Raymond Maric.
