Movado is an American watchmaking house, Swiss origin, founded by Achille Ditisheim in 1881. In 1969, Movado merged with the Zenith watch brand. After a marriage that lasted fifteen years, Movado was repurchased in 1984, by the North American Watch Corporation Movado.
Vintage Swiss watch, Movado President Kingmatic, from 1970. In stainless steel, monobloc casing, 37 mm diameter by 34 height, crown signed Movado. Silvery dial and blue original indexes with baton hands in assorted colours, large central seconds hand.
