Pocket watch, sabonette. Manufactured by Henry Hofmann (Locle, Switzerland). Ca. 1880.
Hallmarked 18 kt Gold Case and Dust Cover. No. 71109.
Front and back lids beautifully decorated with floral and plant rinceaux.
Dust cover with two holes for winding the clock and setting the time. No. 71109 and signed.
White porcelain dial, signed, with Roman numerals for the hours, stick markers for the minutes, spear-type hands and seconds dial at 6 o'clock. Mechanical movement with Swiss bridges, free anchor escapement and bimetallic wheel, split and compensated.
It comes with two keys on a gilded silver chain to set the time and for winding.
Size: 43 mm and 63 mm including the ring.
