Philips Crib Cat Type 7424 From The Second World War - Army green Metal

Description
Philips Crib Cat Type 7424 From The Second World War - Army green Metal
Netherlands - 1920-1949

This dyno torch type 7424 from World War II was developed by Philips. The dyno torch obtained its nickname from the cat-like whining sound it produced when used. Due to the shortage of all kinds of raw materials and products and the lack of batteries, creative thinking was called for about the smallest objects for our daily use. Due to the blackout it had become very important to have a light in the darkness. Philips had a convenient solution for this in the form of a mechanically powered flashlight that functioned by manual control. L.J. Kalff. Although the dyno torch was only patented in 1942, the production started as early as 1941. The photos are also a part of the description

The lot will be carefully packed, sent via registered and insured mail
