Empire style centerpiece bowl - .800 silver - Italy - 1900-1949
Good condition - used with small signs of aging & blemishes

Centrepiece in Empire style designed by Italian silversmith Peruggia of Alessandria in the mid-20th century.
The edge is decorated with a leaf-motif and the bowl rests on four lion’s paw feet.
The Empire style developed in France in the early 19th century to celebrate Emperor Napoleon I.
Lion’s paw feet show amazing details (such as hairs and claws).
Hallmarks: 376AL and 800 (Italy 1944-1968)
