Original woodblock print by Hiroshige II (1826-1869) – 'Fujisawa' (station 7) – From the series 'The Tokaido Road – The Fifty-three Stations' (Tokaido gojusan tsugi no uchi) – Japan – 1854

The series dates from the start of Hiroshige II's career, when he was using the name 'Shigenobu', the artist's name given to him by his master Hiroshige I.

Good impression, full size. Somewhat faded colours and darkened from day light exposure. A brownish spot upper right corner. Some remnants of a former album mounting on the back (not visible from the front).
