Saverio Rampin - informale

Description
Saverio Rampin - informale
Acrylic on canvas - Signed - 1962

Born in 1930 in Paluello di Stra in the province of Venice. After his education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice in 1948-49, the artist made a name for himself in the artistic world by starting to exhibit in the lagoon, participating in the group exhibitions at the Bevilacqua La Masa since 1948. In 1951 he held his first solo exhibition at the Galleria Sandri. In the Fifties, the artist developed a painting characterised by a strong expressive value, and stood out from the initial experiences of a Cubist-Futurist style. The contact with Guidi at the end of the decade, led the artist to change his expressive language, now focused on accepting new solutions of a dominant Luminism.
