Sumi ink on canvas stretched on wooden frame - Hand signed

Rikki Kasso (born in 1979), New York City. The artist, painter, photographer, and multidisciplinary visual artist. Rikki Kasso left his hometown New York City for Tokyo in 2003 on an invitation from VOGUE JAPAN to organise a retrospective of his work 1999-2002 in the Rocket Gallery Omotesando. The following years he spent in Tokyo, immersed in the unique and ancient Japanese culture that influenced his art and is a thread running through his entire oeuvre.
