This endearing terracotta sculpture with Symbolist / Religious influence, because of the swept-away eyelids and the posture of head and hands, shows us a girl with loaded arms. Does she want to offer us something, or .... has she just received this? And what has she got in her arms? It seems to be flowers.
The work refers to a sculpture by Joseph Willterwulghe: "Ronde d'Abondance". This beautiful work is signed with the indication of the date 1927 and the written text "Sixième de vingt cinq exemplaires" = "Sixth of twenty-five copies".
