Swiss cylinder musical box - Paillard Vaucher Fils - Rosewood - Second half 19th century

Description - stained side panels and Brazilian rosewood veneered cover with boxwood stringing and inlay of trumpet,music sheet and flowers,interior with original lithograph tune sheet printed by renowned French lithograph company marked 'J.Bognard Paris' also 'P.V.F. Ste.CROIX SUISSE' No.19285.
A 6 airs movement with serial number 19285,ratcheted winding handle and ruby jeweled escapement.
The musical box is operated with two changing levers,impressed mark on the right 'P.V.F. PAILLARD VAUCHER FILS' circa 1890.

Condition - good original condition light scratches,discoloration on the cover,movement is not functional but winding mechanism is working and escapement partially spinning,levers are working,approximately 15 pins missing on the cylinder and comb is left with 27 pins,also 3mm tear on the top edge of the lithograph, no key.

Dimensions - length 42.3cm,width 18.7cm,height 12.7cm,length cylinder/comb 15.3/15cm, weight 5.27kg.
