Oblong men's watch from the 1940s.
The width is 22.5 mm without the crown, and from lug to lug it measures 35.5 mm. (A normal men's model back then.)
Dial is silky cream and still neat, though naturally with some patina (dotting) after all those years.
Overlaid gold numbers.
Gold layer with some fading/signs of wear, but nothing striking.
The original Swiss hand-wound movement has been checked and runs neatly on time (a deviation of approx. 20 seconds per 24 hours when laid on the digital testing device).
Easy to wind thanks to the large crown.
A very special faceted glass without signs of wear, recently renewed.
The oblique sides (facets) of the glass give a distorted view on some of the photos.
Steel click caseback.
The watch comes on an unworn yellow/beige strap that gives the whole a special appearance, the strap does appear somewhat fragile to me.
For wrists with a circumference of 19.5 cm.
Originally a men's watch but nowadays it can easily or even better be worn by women.
3 months warranty.
