Jean-Pierre Tahan
Jean-Pierre-Alexandre Tahan is heir to the cabinetmaking workshop of his father Pierre-Lambert Tahan. It was under his impetus that the house took a large extension to become one of the most famous of Paris. A cabinetmaker of Napoleon III, he became the great specialist in precious furniture, an 1861 article published in 'The Chronicle of the Arts and Curiosity' presented as follows: "It is one of those manufacturers who are ahead of fashion and who set the tone instead of undergoing it. " Like Paul Sormani, he creates many precious pieces of furniture, small and necessary.

The musical movement is made by Gueissaz of Switzerland
