his blend is inspired by the famous Côte-Rotie style. It is the epitome of a South African "cool climate" Syrah, with beautiful floral notes and a delicate mulberry fruit. On the palate it is soft and delicate with a lot of refinement.
The grapes have been sorted by hand, during the fermentation a regular pumping over takes place. The wine matures for 14 months in oak barrels, 70% of which are new. After the assemblage the wine is stored in wooden barrels for another 4 months.
