Love Nest is a 1951 film directed by Joseph M. Newman.

Jim and Connie Scott are wives who haven't seen each other for two and a half years, because Jim had to go to war. When Jim returns, he actually wants to be a writer, but is disappointed with the changes that have taken place during the period that he was away. When Charles Kenneth “Charlie” Patterson rents an empty room, Jim and Connie don't suspect anything at first. He has a relationship with upstairs neighbour Edie and helps the couple with their money problems. Connie soon begins to suspect that Charlie is committing fraud. The couple also has their personal problems, when Connie discovers that Jim spent a lot of time during the war with the attractive Bobby (Marilyn Monroe) and she now rents an apartment as well.
