Naval flags from the Diderot and D’Alembert Encyclopedia, circa 1770. Numbered engraving (PL.19) on etched copper depicting a series of naval flags with watercolor coloring, designed by Goussier and published by Benard.
The card has a symbol with 2 lions (not recognized by me) that can be seen against the light (see the last photo)
This antique print is presented with passe-partout without the frame and is in a good state of preservation compatibly with the age.
measure without passe-partout 37 x 23 cm, with passe-partout 42.5 x 30.5 cm
