Very nice compass on standard - Brass, Wood - mid 20th century

Very nice antique ship's compass by Henry Browne & Son.
Made in Essex according to the plate on the oak wooden stand.
The following text is: Trade "Sestrel" mark. Henry Browne & Son. Station works barking Essex. Type A.
The compass is in excellent condition. All parts are moving apart and still move according to original design.
The house is made of brass/copper. The sight glass is still complete.
Left an old oil lamp and right a light bulb made and connected to 220 volts with switch. With this you get to see a beautiful illuminated compass (see the pictures).
On the pictures you can see the compass fully taken apart so that you can well review all items.
The compass in the holder of the well-known mark Bergen Nautik is made in Norway. No bubble in the compass and operation still excellent.
The photos are part of the description of the lot. I added as much as possible to give a good impression of the condition of the various parts.

The compass will be very well packed, insured and be sent by registered post with track and trace code
