Old rare compass on nice standard - Brass, Glass - mid 20th century

Old rare compass on nice standard - Brass, Glass - mid 20th century

Very nice antique ship compass of Hutchinson & Jackson.
This is an old company from Sunderland that specialized in making nautical instruments at the end of the 19th century until the beginning of the 20th century (more information about this can be found on the Internet).
It is a dry compass, in which brass and red copper form a beautiful whole.
The compass stands on a solid brass stand. One side of the standard lacks a bracket but does not diminish the firmness.
Compass with standard forms a wonderful combination that will be very beautiful in a nautical interior or even in a museum.
The photos are part of the description of the lot. I added as much as possible to give a good impression. Also a photo with a wine bottle to be able to determine the size well.

The compass with standard will be very well packaged, insured and sent by registered mail with track and trace code
