Masthead lamp, with original oil lamp - Brass, Copper - First half 20th century

Masthead lamp, with original oil lamp - Brass, Copper - First half 20th century

An antique and rare mast light of brass.
The lamp is made by a Belgian company from Antwerp, as indicated on the plate. On a smaller plate on the front side is the serial number 2260 with the letter B and I between which an anchor is placed.
The mast light still has the original oil lamp. An oil lamp that you don't encounter often. There is an edge around the oil lamp that is clamped at the moment the hood is closed. An extra safe protection to keep the oil light in place.
The lamp is dark brown because it has not been polished all the time. On the inside, however, it is easy to see how the copper can look when it is polished.
However, not everyone wants to have the lamp polished.
The top and the lid on top of it are still perfectly opened and closed.
The glass of the lamp and oil lamp are still in good condition.
I suspect that the lamp is from the early 20th century. But I am not sure about this.
Many photos added so you can see the condition of the lamp Also a photo with a wine bottle so that the size can be determined.
Photos are part of the description.

The lamp will be carefully packaged and shipped with registered mail with track and trace.
