Number of items: 1 - Very Good Plus (VG+) - 1st Stereo pressing - Including: some articles about Billy Nicholls

Without question this is one of the rarest psychedelic albums of all time. Why is this record so collectible?
1) Only 50 LP's were pressed and sent to selected British radio DJ's and to music journalists for review purposes. How many copies will have survived the last 50 years?
2) The record didn't reach the shops.
3) Members of the Rolling Stones and the Small Faces were closely involved in making this record.
4) The record is a classic popsike album, belonging in de same range as Pet Sounds (Beach Boys) and Sgt. Pepper (Beatles).
17 year old Billy Nicholls tracked down George Harrison's house en handed him a demo of his songs to pass on to the famous publisher Dick James. Somehow the demo got lost, so as an apology, Billy was invited to record a new demo. At the same time Stones manager Andrew Loog Oldham was looking for songwriters for his Immediate label, somehow got the demo, liked what he heard, and got Billy on board. Oldham decided to promote Billy and pumped a million pounds into this record, and it shows - magnificent lush production, beautiful string arrangements, the Small Faces as the house band, the best London session players including the sixth Rolling Stone Nicky Hopkins on keyboards and John Paul Jones before he became a member of Led Zeppelin.
