Here's a new reference in the prestigious Velier Royal Navy range: Tiger Shark!
This disturbing name, a reference to the tiger shark that haunts our nightmares, as well as the color of this bottle, deep black, can only spark the mystery and the desire to know more ...
In reality, this is the second batch of the Royal Navy Velier. In the continuity of the first, this blend - from different distilleries of the British West Indies - has benefited from aging in barrels of Bourbon for 14 years, on average.
So the juices that make up this Tiger Shark come from British Guiana, Jamaica and Trinidad!
Bottled at 57.18 °, which corresponds to the famous Navy Strength, it has a very particular aromatic profile: citrus fruits, jammy exotic fruits, precious woody notes, tender spicy and chocolate notes.
A rum at the same time complex and powerful, which will soon be considered as a classic of the House Velier, and should as such interest the collectors and (many) followers of the mark!
