Antique office desk telephone
Stylish telephone, original fabric cord, gorgeous dial.

Lovely bakelite horn, inside the phone are 2 nickel bells and the wiring diagram.
This desk phone has a dial disc and a pendulum for the magneto that could be connected to a telephonist. This phone could be used at the automatic and the manually operated exchange, at that time both operating exchanges were in use.
The equipment is in a metal cabinet and on side the pendulum for the magneto.

The National Bell Telephone Company was founded in Scotland by Graham Bell in 1877. In 1880, the American Bell Telephone Company split itself from the company. The International Bell Telephone Company started its first foreign branch in Antwerp under the name of Bell Telephone Manufacturing Company in 1882.

In fairly good condition, with wear due to age and usage.
