Marvellous pair of antique Japanese Kutani vases in porcelain

Signed under the base 'Kutani zo 九谷造'
In excellent condition — unbroken and unchipped

Characterised by a very fine decoration (different on each side) with floral motifs, birds, and foo dogs on the lids

The vases date to the late 19th-early 20th century (Meiji period, 1868-1912).
