Do not miss out this opportunity and become the new owner of this P1800ES from 1973. This is an auction WITHOUT RESERVE PRICE.
A white 1800S with license ST 1 was used in the sixties in the hit television series The Saint starring Roger Moore as Simon Templar.
The P1800ES was only produced in 1972 and 1973 in an edition of 8077 units and was mostly sold in America. This P1800ES is originally European and looks very well and perhaps drives even better. Partly thanks to the 1, 2, 3 ignition (2017), the car starts directly and runs well also through all four gears. The engine is a B20E with 125 HP coupled to a M40 gearbox (thus without overdrive).
The car’s paintwork is in good condition and the interior looks neat but not perfect.
Some of the flaws:
Not all of the gauges in the dashboard function properly.
The rear seat rest is missing.
Non-original bumpers mounted (of the P1800).
The vehicle cannot be locked correctly.
Some of the strong points:
Vehicle already completely revised in 2016-2018.
Paintwork and bodywork in exceptionally good condition.
Engine in exceptionally healthy condition (lots renewed).
Completely new braking mounted including master brake cylinders and brake calipers mounted brand new.
A true eye-catcher, very nice colour with a coarse metallic grain.
Fitted with all new Michelin tyres in May 2019.
This vehicle has a Dutch license, but we are familiar with exporting a vehicle and can assist in doing so. The technical inspection is valid until 2020.
The car can be viewed and picked up in Delft, the Netherlands.
