Okimono, sculpture - bronze - tiger at rest after the hunt - Japan. Circa 1900 (Meiji period).
Composition on sheet embossed by hand and fixed all around a hollow body. Cold-painted.
Made in Japan in the early 20th century in first patina, depicting a tiger in a natural resting pose. Well-defined details of the mouth and the teeth, with the tiger's front right leg tilted towards the mouth, cleaning itself after the hunt.
On the bottom there is an old unknown Japanese label.
