A finely painted porcelain Tazza made in the ''New'' Seto kilns in Japan during the 19th century. The decoration is copied from Chinese porcelain and was made for export, alltought the Japanese began te aqcuire comparable pieces theirselfs.
The foot of the tazza is decorated with Prunus in cracked ice decor. The front of the tazza decorated with finely painted peaches and leaves, a lot better then the average Chinese export wares.
The foot is hollow and marked : 大日本 井上索 瀬戸市, Dai Nippon, Seto city
Condition: Very good, one small hairline to the rim as can bee seen on photo 17 & 18.
