Antique Netsuke depicting daikoku resting on his treasure sack, holding the classic hammer and the sacred jewel in his hand.
Rare subject for the period, in fact it dates back to the late 18th century, the deity has a beautiful smiling expression. You can still notice traces of a refined decoration on the dress.
Lovely natural patina.
In very good overall condition, with natural veining.

A Japanese item from the Edo period.
The item was produced prior to 1947, and is therefore in compliance with European Union regulations on ivory trade.

The item comes with a certificate of authenticity which will be sent to the buyer.
