Mechanical - 8 day movement - half hour, one bell

Mechanical 8-day timepiece - half-hourly striking mechanism with bell
This carriage or travel clock is in fine working condition and runs nicely on time.
The clock strikes a bell every half hour with a soft, clear tone.
The cut glass is intact and the white enamel dial is undamaged.
"Henley" and "made in England" can be read on the dial.
These carriage clocks were made in France originally, but now as handmade item in England by the English Carriage Clock company. The clock is called "Anglaise" and costs approx. €1600 new.
