French clock "The Theater of Youth" - Alexandre Prevost - gold plated, Zamac - mid 19th century

Pretty "Theatre of Youth" pendulum clock on a wooden pedestal (removable).
The sculpture depicts a young artist/author holding a pencil and a notebook. On her left you can see spectators on a theatre balcony. Finely crafted decoration with very pretty details.
In bronze-coloured gold-plated Zamac/spelter.

Signed A.PREVOST 38 (only A.PREVO of the inscription can be seen).

Dial with Roman numerals and inscriptions slightly faded to make out.


Dimensions: 34 x 29 x 11 cm without pedestal. 
Sent with pendulum and key (the pendulum is very heavy and has been removed to avoid damage during shipping).

The pendulum is in working order, but it may need to be serviced.

Sent in a well-protected package.
