I am aware that it is so, but, being a devoted admirer of all connected with field sports, I have endeavoured to rescue the science from oblivion, by giving in the following pages my experience in the chase, ..”

Very good + condition, small dent to cloth on the spine, also a little light ware at extremities. Previous owner's small name stamp on front pastedown and half title, some light foxing to preliminaries, index and page edges, some offsetting from 4 of the plates, otherwise very clean and tidy, binding firm, all plates present. An attractive copy, much better than average.
