Very good condition, see description - 17×4.5×5.5 cm

Rare okimono depicting a geisha who has just got out of the bath. She is still naked and she is covering herself with a large fan while she combs her hair.
Made from a single piece of ivory, of excellent quality and colour.
Excellent overall condition.
Signed under the base.
Possibly Tokyo school.

Japanese artefact from the Meiji period (circa 1890-1910).
The item was produced prior to 1947, and is therefore in compliance with European Union regulations on ivory trade.
