Rare okimono depicting a battle scene with a samurai fighting against a large number of enemies.
Significant quality of the execution, which makes the expressions of the various contenders, the samurai with the proud gaze and the enemies who attack him desperately.
Excellent overall condition.
Signed under the base.

Japanese artefact from the Meiji Period (circa 1890-1910).
The item was produced prior to 1947, and is therefore in compliance with European Union regulations on ivory trade.
