Antique Nativity scene.
Composed by Madonna, St. Joseph and baby Jesus.
Recently attributed to the circle of Lorenzo Mosca, a well-known Nativity scene sculptor from the 18th century.
The figures have a terracotta head and wooden hands and feet.
Eyes are made of glass.
Authentic silk clothing from the time.
The structure is in cork on an antique base.
The two characters are 32 cm high approx.
Baby Jesus in terracotta with glass eyes.
It needed a few renovations to the
paint layer on legs and arms.
