Kasamatsu Shiro (1898/1991). He was born in Asakusa and went to study at Kiyotaka at the age of thirteen. He is one of the most respected of the Shin Hanga artisted, having created many landscapes.
He was published by Watanabe then Unsodo and decided, in the late 50s, to only issue self-published work.
This print is an opportunity to acquire a superb and original woodblock print by Kasamatsu Shiro Hasegawa with seal and signature.
Format: 288 x 253 mm.
Very good condition, no major flaws, missing one little piece on the lower right, four pin-holes at the corners which do not affect the appearance.
No holes and no creases.
